Someone Cares About You.
When you are feeling alone like no 1 cares, read this because its absolutely true: Every night, someone thinks about you before they go to sleep. At least fifteen people in this world love U. The only reason someone would ever hate U is because they want to be just like U. There are at least two people in this world that would die for U. U mean the world to som1. Som1 that U don't even know exists loves U. When U make the biggest mistake ever, something good comes from it. When U think the world has turned its back on U, take a look and remember that someone cares...
BE INSPIRED...
***Am inspired to share with you what an older friend said to a few of us recently.... I have been greatly influenced by it. Not exactly in her own words though, she said there isn't an absolute finishing line for everyone in life. Our tracks are different, our lanes are different and our durations- different. The only thing we have in common is the same judge. For example one person graduates at age 20 and struggles for the next five years to get a job. Another graduates at age 25 and gets a job immediately. One marries a virgin and spends the next decade waiting for the blessings of children. Another, probably after having series of abortions in the past, becomes a mum almost immediately after marriage. One becomes an MD at 30, another becomes MD at 52. Life is full of twists and turns, ups and downs plus many surprises and offers each one of us different opportunities. It is up to each of us to patiently prepare and wait for that opportunity. We learn on the way- no one knows it all or has it better. The devil always tries to tell us that lie over and over but that's just it- a lie. There is a reason why we all don't fall at the same time. Its so that when one is down, weak and discouraged, the other, who is strong, can encourage and uplift him. God never promised that the road would be easy but promised never to leave or forsake us. There's no competition in life so let's learn to go easy on ourselves and trust that God is working it all for our own good (even if it doesn't make sense at that particularly time).
A CALL TO ALL NIGERIAN LEADERS
This is a call to all Nigerian Leaders to emulate the positive aspect of the president of Libya in the person of Gadhafi shunning the negative side... If we can adopt this things stated below as Nigeria is blessed with all the resources to make our country comfortable for its people then the CHANGE that we crave for will be seen. ***. Gadhafi and Libya
1.There was no electricity bill in Libya; electricity was free for all its citizens
2. There was no interest on loans, banks in Libya are state-owned and loans given to all its citizens at 0% interest by law
3. Home considered a human right in Libya –Gaddafi vowed that his parents would not get a house until everyone in Libya had a home. Gaddafi’s father has died while him, his wife and his mother are still living in a tent
4. All newly weds in Libya receive $60,000 Dinar (US$50,000) by the government to buy their first apartment so to help start up the family
5. Education and medical treatments are free in Libya. Before Gaddafi only 25% of Libyans are literate. Today the figure is 83%
6. Should Libyans want to take up farming career, they would receive farming land, a farming house, equipments, seeds and livestock to kick-start their farms –all for free
7. If Libyans cannot find the education or medical facilities they need in Libya, the government funds them to go abroad for it – not only free but they get US$2,300/mth accommodation and car allowance
8. In Libyan, if a Libyan buys a car, the government subsidized 50% of the price
9. The price of petrol in Libya is $0.14 (N22) per litre
10. Libya has no external debt and its reserves amount to $150 billion – now frozen globally
11. If a Libyan is unable to get employment after graduation the state would pay the average salary of the profession as if he or she is employed until employment is found.
12. A portion of Libyan oil sale is, credited directly to the bank accounts of all Libyan citizens
13. A mother who gave birth to a child receive US$5,000
14. Gaddafi carried out the world’s largest irrigation project, known as the Great Man-Made River project, to make water readily available throughout the desert country
So What's the Problem with Libyans? The long rule? God bless NIGERIA.

INTEGRITY MATTERS ALOT...
***Several years ago, a preacher from out-of-state accepted a call to a church in Houston , Texas . Some weeks after he arrived, he had an occasion to ride the bus from his home to the downtown area. When he sat down, he discovered that the driver had accidentally given him a quarter too much change.. As he considered what to do, he thought to himself, 'You'd better give the quarter back. It would be wrong to keep it.' Then he thought, 'Oh, forget it, it's only a quarter. Who would worry about this little amount? Anyway, the bus company gets too much fare; they will never miss it. Accept it as a 'gift from God' and keep quiet.' When his stop came, he paused momentarily at the door, and then he handed the quarter to the driver and said, 'Here, you gave me too much change ..' The driver, with a smile, replied, 'Aren't you the new preacher in town?' 'Yes' he replied. 'Well, I have been thinking a lot lately about going somewhere to worship. I just wanted to see what you would do if I gave you too much change. I'll see you at
church on Sunday.' When the preacher stepped off of the bus, he literally grabbed the nearest light pole, held on, and said, 'Oh God, I almost sold your Son for a quarter.' Our lives are the only Bible some people will ever read. This is a really scary example of how much people watch us as Christians, and will put us to the test! Always be on guard -- and remember -- You carry the name of Christ on your shoulders when you call yourself 'Christian.' Watch your thoughts ; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits.. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny. I'm glad a friend forwarded this to me as a reminder. So, I choose to let you know about it. Have a great day.

A young man learns what's most important in life from the guy next door.
>>>>>It had been some time since Jack had seen the old man. College, girls, career, and life itself got in the way. In fact, Jack moved clear across the country in pursuit of his dreams. There, in the rush of his busy life, Jack had little time to think about the past and often no time to spend with his wife and son. He was working on his future, and nothing could stop him.
>>>>>
>>>>>Over the phone, his mother told him, "Mr. Belser died last night. The funeral is Wednesday." Memories flashed through his mind like an old newsreel as he sat quietly remembering his childhood days.
>>>>>
>>>>>"Jack, did you hear me?"
>>>>>
>>>>>"Oh, sorry, Mom.. Yes, I heard you. It's been so long since I thought of him. I'm sorry,
but I
honestly thought he died years ago," Jack said.
>>>>>
>>>>>"Well, he didn't forget you. Every time I saw him he'd ask how you were doing. He'd reminisce about the many days you spent over 'his side of th e fence' as he put it," Mom told him.
>>>>>
>>>>>"I loved that old house he lived in," Jack said.
>>>>>
>>>>>"You know, Jack, after your father died, Mr. Belser stepped in to make sure you had a man's influence in your life," she said.
>>>>>
>>>>>"He's the one who taught me carpentry," he said. "I wouldn't be in this business if it weren't for him. He spent a lot of time teaching me things he thought were important... Mom, I'll be there for the funeral," Jack said.
>>>>>
>>>>>As busy as he was, he kept his word. Jack caught the next flight to his hometown. Mr. Belser's funeral was small and uneventfu l. He had no children of his own, and most of his relatives had passed away.
>>>>>
>>>>>The night before he had to return home, Jack and his Mom stopped by to see the old
house next door one more time.
>>>>>
>>>>>Standing in the doorway, Jack paused for a moment. It was like crossing over into another dimension, a leap through space and time The house was exactly as he remembered. Every step held memories. Every picture, every piece of furniture...Jack stopped suddenly.
>>>>>
>>>>>"What's wrong, Jack?" his Mom asked.
>>>>>
>>>>>"The box is gone," he said.
>>>>>
>>>>>"What box?" Mom asked.
>>>>>
>>>>>"There was a small gold box that he kept locked on top of his desk. I must have asked him a thousand times what was inside. All he'd ever tell me was 'the thing I value most,'" Jack said.
>>>>>
>>>>>It was gone. Everything about the house was exactly how Jack remembered it, except for the box. He figured someone from the Belser family had taken it.

>>>>>"Now I'll never know what was so valuable to him," Jack said. "I better get some sleep. I have an early flight home, Mom."
>>>>>It had been about two weeks since Mr. Belser died Returning
home from work one day Jack discovered a note in his mailbox. "Signature required on a package. No one at home. Please stop by the main post office within the next three days," the note read
>>Early the next day Jack retrieved the package. The small box was old and looked like it had been mailed a hundred years ago. The handwriting was difficult to ...
read, but the return address caught his attention. "Mr. Harold Belser" it read. Jack took the box out to his car and ripped open the package. There inside was the gold box and an envelope. Jack's hands shook as he read the note inside.
>>>>>
>>>>>"Upon my death, please forward this box and its contents to Jack Bennett. It's the thing I valued most in my life." A small key was taped to the letter. His heart racing, as tears filling his eyes, Jack carefully unlocked the box. There inside he found a beautiful gold pocket watch.
>>>>>
>>>>>Running his fingers slowly over the finely etched casing, he unlatched the
cover. Inside he found these words engraved:
>>>>>
>>>>>"Jack, Thanks for your time! -Harold Belser."
>>>>>
>>>>>"The thing he valued most was...my time."
>>>>>
>>>>>Jack held the watch for a few minutes, then called his office and cleared his appointments for the next two days. "Why?" Janet, his assistant asked.
>>>>>

Baba Suwe Still In NDLEA Custody
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has said that ace actor and comedian, Omidina Babatunde also known as Baba Suwe , has made the first excretion this evening but no drug has so far been found on him.
The actor was to board an Air France flight to Paris at about 10pm on Wednesday 12 October, 2011 at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, southwest Nigeria, when he allegedly tested positive to drug ingestion and was placed under observation.
NDLEA Airport commander, Alhaji Hamza Umar who confirmed that Mr. Omidina Babatunde was in safe custody added that the process of placing suspected persons under observation was the agency’s usual practice.
According to Hamza, “there is reasonable ground for suspicion and the actor is currently under observation. He is fine and has gone for the first excretion but no drug had been found on him. We have in the past recovered drugs after the fourth excretion. It is just the normal process for all passengers.
“The actor will still be under observation. The agency’s doctor has examined him and he is cooperating with narcotic investigators. Further up-date on the matter shall be made known to the general public,” NDLEA said.
Nigerians, especially Baba Suwe’s teeming fans, have been waiting anxiously for the outcome of the aiport alleged drug drama which the NDLEA wants to see to its logical conclusion.
P.M.NEWS will continue to keep its readers informed about the saga in subsequent reports.
